As first reported by Hoop Dreams Magazine, Mustapha Heron has decided to leave Wilbraham & Monson Academy (MA). Today Mustafa speaks about the situation and why he decided to transfer.
“The environment became very toxic so I decided to remove myself from the situation. I wanted to go to a place where I am allowed to develop into a better basketball player. I would like to thank the administration and the student body at WMA for all the love and support. I am planning on enrolling onto Sacred Heart High School (CT) on Wednesday” states Mustapha.
Heron is ranked as a top 15 prospect nationally by ESPN, as well as all other national ranking sites. With the late addition of Mustapha the CIAC will have there hands full this season.
