Pete Miller To Princeton

Normally when a kid has been on the road playing basketball for two and half weeks, he just wants to come home, clear his/her mind and relax. Pete Miller(Northfield Mt. Hermon) took one day to do all that before making his decision to become a Princeton Tiger.

The 6’10 Miller had his chance to play at the mid-high major level but felt that he found the home of his dreams. Either way it ended up, Miller wanted to go to a great academic.  Ivy League schools Columbia and Yale were rounded up his top 3 but Tigers eventually came out on top.

“I chose Princeton for it’s academics, style of play and coaching staff,” says Miller. “I almost made up my mind before live period, but wanted to wait until afterwards so i could just focus on playing ball,” Miller tells HDM. “I feel as if i fit in very well with the community and basketball program.”

Pete Miller is a 6’10 skilled face up player that can knock down the mid range jumper and score either shoulder on the block.

“”I bring versatility to the court, being 6’10 with perimeter and passing skills,” Miller explains what he brings to the Princeton Tigers program.

Pete Miller becomes the second Northfield Mt. Hermon player in the class of 2013 to make a commitment to a IVY League school. Miller joins teammate Zeno Edosomwan who gave a verbal commitment to Harvard.
