Battle Of The States Mass vs Rhode Island

Battles are made to be won, Expressions Stores has done something that not many have been able to pull off.  2015 Expressions High School Showcase Two states Massachusetts vs. Rhode Island, Saturday December 12, 2015 Boston Ma. #BOTS

4:30pm Tech Boston (MA) vs. Classical High School (RI)

The event tips off Saturday afternoon Tech Boston (MA) takes on Classical High School (RI) Tech Boston’s Shamar Moore Sophomore Comb Guard with good range who can score the ball inside and out. Known for his defense he will be a go to guy for Tech Boston. Tristan Perry Senior forward has the tools to league his team to a victory, makes shoots and plays to win.

Classical High School (RI) will be lead by David Dukes the shifty guard is one of Rhode Island’s best prospects, athletic, and can score it with ease. Junior forward Jamari Johnson brings energy on both ends of the floor. Johnson known for finishing above the rim will look to hold the middle down.

6:00pm Cathedral High School (MA) vs. Bishop Hendricken (RI)

Cathedral High School (MA) made a state championship all the way to TD Bank last year they return hungrier as they return top scores Junior Trevor Lynch sharp shooting Sophomore Moses Flowers and Sophomore Julian Howell who is one of the states best defenders.

Bishop Hendricken (RI) has been one of the states most premier schools, lost last year in the state quarterfinals, last won the state championship 2014. They return Junior guard Justin Mazulla who holds a Boston College offer, the south-par has the total package, makes shots, gets to the rim and can finish with the best of them. Sophomore Preston Santos one of the states best prospects regardless of grade. Santos is a big time scorer, long, athletic and frequently plays above the rim.

7:30pm New Mission High School (MA) vs. La Salle Academy (RI)

 New Mission High School fell short of their goal last year, which was to win a state title. They return a bulk of the talent and have added a few new pieces. Tyrique Lee has returned for his senior year, and looking to get back to the State Championship as he did in 2014, Charles and Charlie Mitchell will spear head the New Mission chaos, the twins bring electricity every time they step on the court. Darion Jordan-Thomas is looking to have a breakout season, great motor with mixed with a great deal of upside. With the addition of Isaiah Laurent the athletic wing, look for New Mission to be one of the stats favorite teams.

La Salle Academy (RI) won the division one state championship last year as well as the RI Open State tournament championship. The return senior point guard Lawrence Sabir first team all state last season helping La Salle win the D1 title as well as the RI Open State Tourney. Strong, athletic guard that has exceptional speed. Senior Mike McCourt wing, tough, fierce competitor. 2nd team all division 1 last season. Has three point range, rebounds well, can run the floor hard and finish in traffic.  Jimmy Pare senior sharp shooter. Tough physical guard with a nice shooting touch. Plays hard at both end of the floor, and is a two-year starter.
