Abdul Malik-Abu Hoops Diary Report

Abdul Malik-Abu along with a number of teammates are on the road for a number of unofficial visits to Temple and Maryland. Abu and his Expressions teammates just wrapped up their visit to College Park, MD and had this to say about the Terps.

“Myself, Jared Terrell, Alec Brennan, Juwan Gooding along with the Director and Owner of Expressions Elite Todd Quarles, and my AAU Coach Tyron Boswell,” Abu tells HDM. “We arrived to campus and meet with Coach Tergeon, and Spinelli along with the rest of the staff”

“We sat down and talked about Maryland and the tradition of the program, coach Tergeon showed us the one different uniform that the team would wear during the year.”

“Our tour was great we walked onto the floor and my heart stopped as I pictured myself making a game winning basket with a packed house.   The gym is on campus which is great for the school compradorey. “

”Maryland will be one of the schools that will be on my final list, the coaches are great and I like the direction the program is heading in”

“Myself, and my teammates along with a few of the Maryland players walked the strip after we had dinner and the town and state has a great college fell”

Thank you University of Maryland coaches.

Overtime: reactions from Alec Brennan and Juwan Gooding about Maryland.

Alec “They have a great system that fits my style of play; they allow the big men to shoot and put the ball to the floor.  I like that haha”

Juwan ” this is a like a dream school I have never seen anything like this before”

2014 6″10″ Alec Brennan D1 Basketball WORKOUT

We recently caught up with Alec Brennan a 6’10 2014 sophomore who attends Milton Academy in milton Massachusetts. Alec has been working very hard in the gym 5 + times a week since last summer and is one of the best all around big men prospects in New England. Alec’s combination of height, size, footwork, athleticism and shooting ability makes him a very intriguing high major step out four prospect.

Playing with Expressions Elite Aau program during the 2012 April live period Alec Brennan gained his first two high major scholarship offers from the University of Miami and Iowa State (URI, Brown Columbia, Umass, California and UNH have also offered). Intrest from Wake Forrest, Stanford, Harvard, Providence, S Florida, Rutgers, Indiania, Penn State, and Cincinnati
