One of the top players in the 2017 class, Jaylen Hands, will be calling UCLA home when his prep career is done.
Hands is a in state kid who took to twitter and announced his decision. The 6-foot-1 point guard out of Balboa City School in San Diego, CA is considered to be the best prospect at his position in the state of California
“Me and my family felt the most comfortable with UCLA and their staff as a whole,” said Hands in regards to making an early decision to be a Bruin. “The lineage of point guards being sent to the league, and being so close to home is something we couldn’t pass up.”
There are some things that Jaylen Hands doesn’t have to pass up staying close tome.
“I like to sing, ride bikes on the beach with me dad and friends,” Hands said in terms of things he likes to outside of basketball that people wouldn’t know about him.
The Bruins have done a fine job recruiting in state for their 2017 class. Hands now joins fellow instate commits Jalen Hill and LiAngelo Ball to round up the recruiting class. Head Coach Steve Alford has also put together an all in state recruiting class for 2016. UCLA is definitely taking care of business at home.
