Wenyen Gabriel, a class of 2016 consensus top 100 prospect in the country earned himself a scholarship from the Kentucky Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils and Kansas Jayhawks in the same weekend.
The Wilbraham & Monson Academy (MA) forward ran with the Mass Rivals while in Las Vegas at the Adidas Uprising Championships who were a few possessions away from capturing the title.
After his performance at the Adidas Uprising showcasing versatile skill set on a national TV while playing in the title game against Team Loaded on ESPN the country now knows the name Wenyen Gabiel. Showing off his ball handling, Perimeter shooting and high motor the 6-foot-9 Gabriel had everything on display over the weekend.
Gabriel holds an offer from every mid-high major program in New England but has taken a liking to the Duke Blue Devils who have offered as of today. As his recruitment continues to grow be sure to pay close attention to the rankings of Gabriel who has performed on the big stage and proved to play for any collegiate program in the country.
No favorites or scheduled visits for Wenyen Gabriel at the moment but we’ll be sure to report if there are any.
