Early-impact Freshman in New England

6’6 Chris Doherty(Marlboro High)- Doherty is the leading scorer for his Marlboro high school squad averaging 17 points per game. Doherty is a prototypical back to the basket big with a solid touch around the basket.

6’2 G Paul Durkee( Shrewsbury High)- Durkee has a knack to put the ball in the basket and can score in a variety of ways. Durkee averages 14 points per game for his varsity squad and look for him to continue to dominate the varsity ranks.

6’3 G Nyzair Rountree(Holy Cross High)- Rountree has been on a tear averaging 27 points per game over the past few weeks. Only a freshman but can attack at a high level and has shown the ability to score from long range.

5’6 PG Travis Evee(BC High)- Evee is small but efficient as he shows the ability to score and facilitate for his squad. Evee has put up some big numbers for his BC High squad.

6’2 G Dominic Jones(New Mission)- Jones continues to light up opponents as he averages close to 15 points per game. Jones is a scholarship level athlete that can fill it up from behind the arc.

6’3 PG Brycen Goodine(Bishop Stang)- Goodine is arguably the top player in southern Massachusetts regardless of class averaging 17 points per game. Goodine continues to fill up the stat sheet noting a triple-double performance during the season.

6’1 PG Ethan Wright(Newton North)- Wright has been sensational for his undefeated Newton North Squad. Wright ┬áhas logged major minutes and has shown the poise of a senior and the ability to score in bunches.

6’5 Preston Santos(Bishop Hendricken)- Santos started season off slow but, has began to put together dominant performances with 28 points and 10 rebounds. Santos does it all for his Bishop Hendricken squad playing a multitude of positions.

5’10 Maurice Works(East Boston)- Works averages 17 points per game and is recognized as the top freshman in the City of Boston. Works is a jet on the offensive end and can defend at an elite level.
