Jermaine “Born Ready” Samuels

When you think of potential and upside the name that comes to mind is Jermaine Samuels the 6’7” shooting guard has been a name that has been in the national media for quite some time.

Nationally ranked amongst the top 25 prospects in the country, Samuels is generally known for his athletic ability while attacking the rim. This year he has improved his game and skill set leaps and bounds. His jump-shot has been one of his go to moves as of recent, with him being more confident with his jump-shot he now has defenders guessing what he will do offensively.

“My goal this season is to become a better leader, while taking ownership in the things I do, and hopefully bring an ISL championship to Rivers” says Samuels

As a player who wants to play at the next level, naturally you envision how you would want your game to resemble, Samuels states “Paul George, he does a lot of things well”

Currently Samuels holds offers from the defending national champions UCONN, Boston College, Boston University, and URI. He has also heard from the likes of Kansas, Kentucky, Duke, Syracuse, UCLA, V Tech, and Stanford to name a few.

“Unanimous College Coach “ Jermaine is the real deal, he has one of the best motors I have seen in my 19+ years coaching, he will be a high major player when its all said and done,

Rivers plays at the 2015 Hoop Dreams Magazine Prep Classic Jan 10-11, 2015 at Bunker Hill Community College and all eyes will be on Samuels & Co. to show that they have what it takes as a program to compete at the highest level against some of the best in the NEPSAC. – See more at:
