Top Freshman Standouts in New England

5’10 PG Maurice Works- 16 pts and 10 asts as he wins the Keith Nance tournament MVP. Talented freshman just scratching the surface.

6’2 G Paul Durkee- Has led his team to a 2-1 record scoring 16 against St. Peter-Marian. Durkee is clearly one of the top scorers in the state
6’6 F Chris Doherty- 21 pts and 13 rbs against St. Bernard. Doherty has led his team to a 3-1 overall record and proving he is one of the top Freshmen in New England
6’3 PG Brycen Goodine- 19pts, 15 rbs, 5 ast and 3 blocks has been doing it all for his Bishop Stang squad(3-0). Goodine already has the size and athleticism to play at the Division One level.  He has tremendous potential and keeps improving.
6’8 F Tommy O’Neil- 12 pts, 8 rbs has helped lead his St. John’s Prep team to a 3-0 mark. O’neil plays St. Anthonys(NJ) tonight
5’11 G Tanahj Pettway- Has been averaging 16 pts a game as he is the leading scorer for his Division One squad. Pettway sure can put up points in bunches.
6’5 G Preston Santos- Has been averaging 10 pts, 8 rbs, 5ast and 5 blks a game as a freshman for Bishop Hendricken. Santos does it all for his squad.
