Aaron Falzon, a 6-foot-8 forward out of Northfield Mount Hermon announced via twitter that he gave a verbal commitment to Northwestern.
A consensus top 100 prospect in the country, Falzon a sharp shooter from Newton, Mass. was looking for a high academic institution that would give him the best of both worlds with books and basketball. Falzon would eventually choose Northwestern over Harvard.
“one factor was finding the combination between academics and basketball,” said Falzon, Another was Coach [Chris]Collins.”
“On my visit I thought I would fit in very well with the players.”
Coach Collins will be able to use Aaron’s shooting ability to stretch defenses and give him a dynamic to his frontcourt offense that the Wildcats aren’t used to seeing in their rotation.
“I really believe in the vision he has for NU, and the passion he brings is incredible,” said Falzon.
