On Saturday the Virginia Cavaliers received a verbal commitment from one of the best passing big men in the Class of 2015, 6-foot-8 forward Jarred Reuter, who attends Brewster Academy (NH) committed to Virginia while visiting the school this weekend, Reuter returned home and made the call that he wanted to become a Cavalier.
Virginia who is the reigning ACC champions, will look for Reuter to make an immediate low post impact when he arrives on campus.
“I choose Virginia because I liked the coaches and players a lot, I think I fit their system and style of play” says Reuter.
When asked what he wanted to improve on for this upcoming season, Reuter states “I want to become a better athlete, so I can face up a little more and hit more shots”
Reuter is a power inside player with a terrific motor. A great low post player who has a great IQ, a great fit for the Cavaliers. The other schools considered by Reuter were Iowa, Providence, Rhode Island and South Carolina.
“I would like to thank my mom, and family, as well as TJ and the rest of my coaches for helping me throughout my process.
