One of the most underrated point guards in New England is off the board and heading to Southern New Hampshire.
Adrian Oliverira of Brimmer & May School (MA) was destined to play scholarship basketball, a two sport athlete as he played soccer and basketball. Oliveira defines the term hard work, after battling through injury his senior season he fought back to lead his team into the playoffs under head coach Tom Nelson. While at Brimmer & May Adrian was able to reach the 1000 point mark.
When asked what made him choose Southern New Hampshire, Adrian states
“I chose SNHU because when I worked out with the team and met with the coaches I really felt a connection,”
“Even though my initial interest was to play for a Division one College I had a great opportunity in front of me to play for SNHU. They don’t have a point guard committed and I know I can come in right away and make myself known in a great NE-10 Conference.”
SNHU will be getting a great basketball player and an even better person, congrats A.O. and good luck.
P.S. He has my vote for rookie of the year, remember you heard it here first.
