Ron Patterson, a 6-3 guard originally a part of a 2012 Indiana recruiting class that called themselves the Fab 5, has given a verbal pledge to Syracuse University.
Best known for his defense, Patterson is an athletic freak that will torch you from the perimeter with his smooth stroke and pull up game. Ron has a near 7 foot wingspan, which makes Brewster Academy guard a perfect fit in the Orangemen zone defense.
Ron Patterson is the second Brewster Academy player in recent years to take his talents to Syracuse. Sophomore wing forward CJ Fair is a Brewster alum and current Orangemen starter.
Syracuse is very much involved in the recruitment of top 10 class of 2013 prospect Noah Vonleh. Vonleh was set to visit Syracuse this past weekend but decided to reschedule the visit for a later date.
