The reigning New York City Catholic School League POY makes his college decision, Jose Alvarado chose Georgia Tech over Rutgers and Seton Hall.
First year Head Coach Josh Pastner has a vision for the of Georgia Tech basketball and Jose Alavarado will be apart of it. Pastner started recruiting Alvarado as soon as he took the job at Georgia Tech and made the talented point guard a priority.
A week ago, Alvarado announced his final three schools including Rutgers, Seton Hall, Georgia Tech. Seton Hall has been recruiting Alvarado the longest and have more success recruiting kids in New York as of late but Coach Pastner and the Yellow Jackets swooped in for the win.
Winning indeed is the direction Georgia Tech trying to head towards after being projected to finish at the bottom of the ACC this upcoming mens basketball season.
