Wabissa Bede had one of the biggest summers of any prospect in the 2017 class and high major programs from across the country have been calling for his services.
The 6-foot-1 Cushing Academy point guard was named MVP of the Adidas Uprising Championships when he helped lead his Mass Rivals AAU team to a national title.
Bede stated via his twitter page that he wanted to win a national title and play on ESPN one more time before ending his AAU career and did just that.
Bede has generated a new list that consists of his top five schools. Butler, Minnesota, LaSalle, Massachusetts and Virginia Tech have all earned a place on that list and will now try to get the young guard on their campus for a visit to lay out the red carpet.
Wabissa Bede plans to visit Butler officially on Aug. 27. Virginia Tech and Minnesota will get a visit in the fall.
